Our story begins with those who produce milk. We were founded through the union of Portugal’s three largest dairy farmer organisations — the cooperatives Agros, Lacticoop and Proleite — which came together to build a transformative project for the Portuguese dairy sector: Lactogal.
From the very beginning, we have believed that nurturing our roots is the only way to nourish the future. By bringing production together, creating scale and consolidating an integrated value chain from farm to consumer, we strengthened the foundations of a more resilient and sustainable sector.
